Q:  What was your role on the NYWICI Matrix Journal project?

A: Art Director / Designer

Q:  Favorite part of the project?

A: It was really interesting to find parallels between women in the 1920’s and women today. Their stories were both inspiring and empowering. They had to fight to get what they believed in back then, just as we do now. Fortunately, there was no fighting, it was just a lot of fun developing this project with a Copywriter and an Illustrator.

Q:  Tell me a bit about your career journey that led you to your current role @ Hill Holliday.

A: I was a Designer at Modernista!, a Boston agency, for nine years. It was a great experience working with an amazing group of talented people. I was fortunate to work on brands like Hummer, (RED), TIAA-CREF, Cadillac and Stop Handgun Violence. I’ve been with Hill Holliday for almost a year as a Designer on Bank of America. Time really flies by when you’re having fun.

Q: Tell me a fun fact about yourself.

A: I believe design can make everything better. Even food tastes better when it’s beautifully designed on the plate. I don’t know why. It just does.
