On Thursday, April 18, 2013, the Minneapolis/St. Paul chapter of the Women’s Leadership Network held a workshop entitled, “First Impressions: Verbal & Non-Verbal Cues,”  on verbal and non-verbal cues and the effect they can have on first impressions at the Carmichael Lynch Spong offices. This program was also webcast to other agencies around the Twin Cities area so that those who were unable to attend could tune in online.

Led by Cheryl Moore Brinkley, Voice and Speech Educator, B. Vocal,  to over 125 employees in the Twin Cities area, the workshop provided strategies and advice on how to make a better first impression in the workplace, create awareness of WLN programming and encourage further participation, and build stronger inter-company networks through connections within the industry.
