Julie Rezek Joins IPG's HackerAgency As NA President

HackerAgency, the Interpublic Group global digital/direct marketing company, has appointed Julie Rezek to the new position of North American president. She starts in June.
Rezek joins the IPG shop from Wunderman, where she has been president of the agency’s Seattle office and global client lead on that agency’s Microsoft business. Hacker also counts Microsoft as a client.
Rezek is tasked with spurring growth in the North America region, in part by developing new solutions and offerings for clients. As part of her new role, Rezek will also take over some of the responsibilities held by HackerAgency EVP/GM Matt Witter, who is leaving after 15 years with the company to explore other opportunities. Weber Shandwick released its Gender Forward Pioneer (GFP) 2016 Index, which measures the percentage of women in senior management positions at Fortune Global 500 companies. The Index is a supplement to Gender Equality in the Executive Ranks: A Paradox - The Journey to 2030, a global study sponsored by Weber Shandwick and KRC Research and conducted by The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).Read more
Beth Rilee-Kelley elevated to President of The Martin Agency

The December 2013 passing of Mike Hughes, "patriarch, president and ultimate creative leader of The Martin Agency," left an opening that agency principals knew could only be filled by one person.
Today the Virginia-based IPG shop announced that chief operating officer Beth Rilee-Kelley has been promoted to president, effective immediately. She is the first to hold that title since Hughes' death.
The 33-year Martin veteran started as an assistant account executive in 1983, was named partner in 2005 and became COO in January 2011. In the role, her expanded duties will include partnering with clients and working on Martin's new business initiatives. Read more.
