WLN Japan International Women’s Day Events

On March 5th, WLN Japan hosted an International Women's Day Breakfast session. Over 130 staff attended across IPG agencies, with some selected clients and press. The purpose of the session was to update/reinforce awareness amongst our staff of our IPG WLN Japan activities, and secondly (but not to the least) to publicly announce the launch of our “TRUTH ABOUT GENDER IN JAPAN - Women and Men at Work” studies supported by WLN, which was amazingly conducted and lead by McCann Tokyo’s planning director Jun Matsumoto-san and the team consisting of members with diverse background incl a senior male planner from McCann Health.Read more

The Confidence Building Workshop hosted by the Culture Committee in partnership with Lean In Tokyo was held on October 30, Friday. Over 30 members participated. The workshop was designed to enable participants to discover what makes their heart throb, become stronger and realize that it has nothing to do with the evaluation of others nor what they thought they were good at. WLN NYC Hosts Fall Mixer

To wrap up another successful year, the WLN NY co-chairs hosted 24 women for an evening of networking, recruiting, and complimentary headshots courtesy of our onsite photographer. The event served as a tool for existing members to discuss 2019 opportunities with the group as well as for the leadership team to introduce interested employees to the WLN mission and offerings. The overall feedback was positive, especially the complimentary headshots.
