WLN Norwalk Congratulates Award-Winning Members

Congratulations to WLN Norwalk member Meredith Kinsman!  Octagon’s Digital Strategy Group Director was named to Cynopsis Media’s ‘Top Women in Digital’ list. The list honors the boldest and most creative marketers across digital content, marketing, advertising, online and social media. And Meredith is just that. She works alongside the agency’s brand clients to create digital strategies from program ideation, to planning and flawless execution.  A big congrats is also in order for chapter member Victoria Baldwin, named to the Rising 25 Class of 2017 by Front Office Sports.

WLN Spreads Holiday Cheer

The Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) Connecticut Chapter held its December meeting which focused on giving back to the community during the holiday season.

A team of 30 collected and packaged personal care products and delivered them to the Homes with Hope organization. Homes with Hope is a non-profit that helps over 95 people, including children, through emergency shelters and supportive apartments to live independent and self-sufficient lives.

WLN LA Hosts Mentoring Mixer

The Los Angeles chapter of the Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) wrapped up their 2015 year-long Mentorship Circle program with a Mentoring Mixer on May 24th. This was an opportunity for participants to meet mentors and mentees from other circles and to recruit mentees for the 2016 circles. The evening included a panel discussion made of up mentors and mentees, a clothing drive for Dress For Success, and a recruitment plug for the next Mentorship Circle session. The evening began with an introduction to WLN LA Chapter and closed with networking amongst agency peers. 55 women from across the Los Angeles IPG agency network attended.

MPLS WLN Presents:

On March 23, 2016, MPLS WLN hosted A Talk with Sue Crolick at Carmichael Lynch | Spong.

Sue Crolick rose through the ranks of the advertising world during the Mad Men era to become the first ever female art director in the Twin Cities. Sue shared the successes and struggles of her career and life with over 80 employees in attendance.

Presentation was followed by a Q&A and cocktail reception.
