On October 23, 2019 in Stamford’s picturesque Harbor Point, more than 60 diverse professionals from across the area gathered at Octagon headquarters to dissect best practices surrounding workplace inclusivity.
In partnership with neighboring company NBC Sports, The WLN Stamford Chapter hosted the panel titled “An Inclusive Workplace: It Takes a Village.” Moderated by Octagon SVP Meredith Kinsman, the discussion focused on personal insights, workplace successes, and tangible ideas to promote truly welcoming work environments, with a specific emphasis on how White males can help accelerate cultural changes. Panelists included NBC VP, Talent Development & Negotiations Elyse Noonan; Emmy Award-winning NBC SVP Production, Olympics, and Executive Editor Joe Gesue; and Octagon VP, Research Christina Ackas.
