International Women’s Day Annual Event: Celebrating Superwomen

WLN Singapore hosted their third annual International Women’s Day event: Celebrating Superwomen, on March 8th, 2018.

Whether they are co-workers, friends, family or role models, we all know some superwomen. This year’s event focused on #pressforprogress and celebrated the superwomen in our lives with a panel discussion and networking event.

Panelists included:

• Debra Langley Fashion Consultant; Partner with Full Circle Partners; and Advisor to Start Today Ventures
• Natalie Dau Founder of Urban Remedy; Personal and Group Trainer; and Training for Warriors Coach
• Jacqueline Loh CEO of Aidha
• Lizi Hamer Regional Creative Director at Octagon Singapore
• Ilona Errington Senior Account Manager at Jack Morton
• Jessica Davey CMO for Asia-Pacific at McCann Worldgroup

Attendees also discussed the benefits of further embedding the WLN within all agencies and ensuring a more ongoing community – not just a series of events. To accomplish this, WLN Singapore set up a closed FB group to encourage ongoing sharing of content and interaction, with the goal of moving closer towards mentoring opportunities and establishing a real sense of community.
