How to Unleash Your Personal Brand:  Learn from the High Profile Women at Cannes

On August 24, 2016, McCann Worldgroup in Singapore hosted YES WE CANNES, an interactive lunchtime screening and Q&A session for their local women’s group. This is the second event of its kind and is a follow up to the inaugural event hosted in March for International Women’s Day. The aim of these meetings is to inspire, celebrate and engage women in McCann’s Singapore offices.

YES WE CANNES had over 40 attendees (including 10 men!) from across the IPG network in Singapore including employees from McCann Worldgroup, DeVries, FutureBrand, Golin, IPG Mediabrands, Jack Morton, MullenLowe, Octagon, R/GA and Weber Shandwick.

Attendees enjoyed a screening of Anna Wintour’s Cannes presentation, an excerpt from Expectations Aside, Interpublic’s Sixth Annual Women’s Breakfast in Cannes and a discussion on how to build a powerful personal brand, based on the 4 key lessons from Anna:

  1. Aim higher
  2. Dare to be different
  3. Use all your gold
  4. Make interesting friends
