WLN Minneapolis members took advantage of the beautiful weather for a Spring Mix & Mingle event on April 25th on the rooftop of SEVEN in downtown Minneapolis.  The group of women (and a few men!) enjoyed delicious appetizers and specialty drinks including the Sweet Talker Sangria, First Impression Spritzer and Mentor Mojito.  Many brought donations to the Jeremiah program, raising $310 for the nonprofit organization.

The Jeremiah program helps highly motivated women break the cycle of poverty by addressing the holistic needs of families – housing, employment and multi-generational education. The Jeremiah program’s approach uniquely equips women to succeed in the workforce, prepares their children to succeed in school and helps end the need for public assistance in these families.

Those who made contributions to the Jeremiah program had their names thrown into a drawing for door prizes, and three lucky people won a $50 gift card to SEVEN.  In addition to enjoying food, beverages, and mingling, members took home a copy of the specialty drink recipes along with networking tips provided by IPG agency women.
