On December 1, 2009, PR News announced the winners of its PR People and 15-to-Watch Awards. Among the winners were three Weber Shandwick employees.

Leslie Gaines-Ross, Weber Shandwick’s chief reputation strategist, was named Agency Executive of the Year. As an expert in reputation management, Leslie consults across practices and specialties to make sure that Weber Shandwick, its clients and others in PR understand what type of and how much polish they can use to enhance their image. She also seeks to limit reputation damage in the first place.

Barb Iverson, president of Weber Shandwick’s financial services practice, was named Financial Communications Leader of the Year. In 2008, Barb’s leadership and problem-solving talents made her the go-to communications executive for many of the world’s largest—and most troubled— financial services brands in the aftermath of the economic meltdown

Francisca Llamas, Weber Shandwick senior account executive, was named one of PR News’ 15-to-Watch in PR.  A rising star at Weber Shandwick, Francisca has proven she can do it all: writing, media relations, project management, creative strategy, new business pitching and more.

The PR News PR People and 15-to-Watch Awards recognize the top talent, innovators and passionate professionals who day in, day out are making communications matter in the PR marketplace.
